Assembly location: Guion Farm Access Area

Assembly time:  8:45 AM.

Work LocationWhite Pine Rd/White Pine Loop/Poplar Trail

We will be working with the Forest Service on a reroute of White Pine Rd and White Pine Loop so that they flow into each other when they cross Hickory Mtn Rd.  This is in preparation to combine them into one trail.  In addition we will be rerouting the top 0.1 mile of Poplar Trail where it meets White Pine Loop in order to reduce the grade from the existing 16% to something more sustainable.

Work Type: Trail finishing work after the Forest Service roughs in the new route with the Dingo. Crew work will include de-berming, finishing new drains, cutting roots in trail tread and probably some hand cutting of trail.

Tools:  Will be provided, but don't hesitate to bring your favorite trail tool.

Safety Equipment:  Bring mask, water, bug spray.  Wear heavy boots and work gloves.

Experience: No experience necessary.

Finish Time: 12:00 Noon
