Join us for another Beyond the Falls hike in the Forest meant to take you out to some less-traveled trails.
Your host will be Wende Fonvielle, a FODF Board Member with a background in education and leading wilderness exploration.
This time we will hike Big Rock, Cedar Rock, Little River and Corn Mill Shoals and Burnt Mountain. Consider this a moderate hike of 6 miles with 881 feet of elevation gain. There is one small water crossing.
We will meet at the Corn Mill Shoals Parking Lot.
Plan to spend up to 3 hours on trails with enough fluids and appropriate apparel/footwear. Hiking poles are recommended.
In the event of impending inclement weather, you will be notified by email the evening before.
