Work Location: Isaac Heath/ top of Jim Branch
We will carpool in from Guion parking and park On Buck Forest at the intersection of Jim Branch Trail. We will hike from there to the intersection of Jim Branch and Isaac Heath singletrack. Work will begin work where the last crew left off on Jim Branch finishing up maybe 8-10 drains and then start working up Issac Heath trail.
Type of Work: Drain cleaning and/or rebuilding, and some cooridor clearing.
Finish Time: 1:00 PM
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to hike at least 3 miles, round trip, with approximately 150 feet of ascent and descent while carrying trail tools.
Tools: Provided, but don't hesitate to bring your favorite tool. If you bring a tool make sure you keep it seperated from FODF tools.
Required Personal Protective Equipment: Heavy boots, gloves. Come hydrated to prepare for the summer time conditions. Water will be provided, but extra personal water bottles and water packs are a good idea.
Crew Size Limit: 30 people
Waiver: Each volunteer must fill out a 2025 FODF Trail Crew Waiver. Waiver forms will be available on site.
