Assembly Location: High Falls Access Parking Lot off of Staton Rd. This lot is also the location of the DuPont Forest Visitor Center.
Assembly Time: 8:45 AM
Work Location: Corn Mill Shoals Trail just east of the Little River.
We will car pool to loop at the end of Bridal Veil Road.
Work Activity: Clear the remaining uncleared drains on Corn Mill Shoals in the section between Laurel Ridge Trail and the Little River. The drains that will be worked on have been identified with trail tape. If we have enough people and time we will also clear drains on Shoals Trail. New: Will also be removing vegetation that is encroaching on the trail corridor.
Tools: Trail tools will be provided, but don't hesitate to bring your own shovel or favorite trail tool.
Bring: Water. Work Gloves. Bug Spray.
Wear: Heavy boots.
Everyone is invited. No experience required. You do not have to be member of Friends Of DuPont Forest (FODF) to participate.
