Join NC Forest Rangers Susan Fay and EJ Dwiggens for a moderate, ¾ mile walk in Holmes Educational State Forest to observe and identify early spring wildflowers. While walking through this diverse forest ecosystem we are likely to see plenty of Oconee Bells, Trout Lilies, Bloodroot and more!

The program is limited to 20 members of Friends of DuPont Forest. We will meet near the main kiosk in the parking lot at 2:00 pm.

We recommend bringing comfortable shoes, a water bottle, a camera, and a wildflower field guide if you have one. After the guided hike, there is much more at Holmes Educational State Forest to explore on your own time! Please enjoy the hiking trails, picnic areas, and a variety of educational exhibits. NCEE and CEU credit available upon request.
