Join us for our first Beyond the Falls hike for 2025.
Your host will be Wende Fonvielle, a FODF Board Member with a background in education and leading wilderness exploration.
This time we will hike Rocky Ridge Trail to Switchback Trail to Frank Street to Plantation Trail. Consider this a moderate hike of 3.5 miles and 240 feet of elevation gain.
We will meet at the Stone Mountain Parking Area off of Sky Valley Rd.
Plan to spend up to 3 hours on trails with enough fluids and appropriate apparel/footwear. Hiking poles are recommended.
In the event of impending inclement weather, you will be notified by email the evening before.
