DuPont Trail Crew Tuesday Workday - July 15, 2025

Date: Tuesday July 15, 2025

Assembly Location: Guion Farm Access Area

Assembly Time: 8:45 AM

Work Location: Ridgeline Trail

 We will carpool in and park in the open field at the intersection of Hickory Mtn Rd and Ridgeline Trail.  We will hike from there to the Ridgeline singletrack and begin work where the last crew left off.  Ridgeline singletrack will be closed during the trail work. 

Type of Work: Drain cleaning and/or rebuilding.  Erosion repair including some minor armoring and repairing trail divots.  

Finish Time: Noon

Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to hike at least 3 miles, round trip, with approximately 150 feet of ascent and descent while carrying trail tools. 

Tools: Provided, but don't hesitate to bring your favorite tool. If you bring a tool be sure you write your name on it. 

Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Heavy boots, gloves.  Bring water. 

Crew Size Limit: 30 people

Waiver:  Each volunteer must fill out a 2025 FODF Trail Crew Waiver.  Waiver forms will be available on site. 

Cancellations: Please contact Lyle Burgmann at llbmwb@gmail.com if, after registering, you will be unable to attend.  He will cancel your registration and open your slot for someone else.
